Quintino, one of the two producers behind the smash hit “Epic” with Sandro Silva that had everyone raging in 2011 and well into 2012, collaborated with Ralvero this time on their new electro house track, “Jackpot”. With its huge, suspenseful buildup, impressive climax and rocking drop, it’s another house banger that is sure to be played in DJ sets around the world, with support from Tiesto already.

Despite the song’s promise, responses to the previews on the internet have not all been positive. Many Youtube users have commented on the track saying that it has an extremely similar drop to Mattias, G80′s Ft. Chipper- Amazing, further accusing Quintino and Ralvero of plagiarizing the track since it had its official release a couple months prior to the release of “Jackpot”.

However, there is live footage of Quintino playing “Jackpot” in a live set prior to Mattias and G80′s release of “Amazing”, which you can see here:

What do you think? Production for either of these songs could have lasted months or even a year, and we can’t assume one plagiarised the other without a full disclosure from the artists themselves. Comment below with your thoughts!

Here’s “Jackpot”

and “Amazing” (If you want to compare the drops, Jackpot’s comes in at around 1:13 and Amazing’s comes in at 2:00):

Regardless, the new track sounds like it’ll be a hit. You can support Quintino and Ralvero by purchasing the new single on Beatport below.

Music is my escape from the moment the first beats drop, fill my veins and pump through my chest; I close my eyes and my body and soul are in another place. I'm ecstatic to be a contributor as I get to share my passion with an amazing community and develop it into something greater.
