Numark Mixtrack Pro II Announced

I’ve been into DJing for a while and have my share of mixing experience, and I’m always on the hunt for new equipment. Latest in Numark’s arsenal of DJ controllers is the Mixtrack Pro II, the second generation of what they dub to be the “best selling controller on the market”. Quite frankly it rings quite true because it packs everything you’d need to get into DJing, plus some very nice extras.

To be perfectly honest, the only differences I can spot between the original Mixtrack Pro and the Mixtrack Pro II, are the additions of the extra knobs at the top (which could be for better interfacing with Serato DJ), and the 16 drum-pad hardware cues for cue points and also potential sampling. Also, it looks a little different. The retail price is said to be around $300, which is a solid increase from the $100-$150 that the original MTP went for.
