Kavinsky, aka Vincent Belorgey, is a French electro house artist whose production style is known to be very reminiscent of 1980′s electro-pop film sound tracks. Kavinsky himself attributes his style to 1980′s movies he watched as a child and much of his inspiration for his music, designs, and style stem from this. Kavinsky has been compared to Daft Punk and Danger, and has gained more popularity from his track, “Nightcall,” which was featured in the 2011 movie, Drive. Kavinsky has released a preview of his first upcoming LP, OutRun, along with a music video. ProtoVision includes remixes from Boyz Noise, Sébastien Tellier, Blood Orange, and STS! ProtoVision has a great electro 80′s vibe and is heavy on the synths. For you french house lovers or just 80′s fans, check out Kavinsky’s ProtoVision!
