The producer responsible for the Internet Friends remix that rocked music blogs for weeks, is back with his new EP “OG Status”, which is available for free download on his Soundcloud. The new release “pulls from footwork and dubstep with a slight nod to trap” heRobust told me in an interview I did with him via Facebook messenger. I can really get into this EP and I know a lot of other people will be able to as well. I see bright things for this young producer’s future! Here is a short Q&A from my conversation with heRobust:
“I’ve been playin these tracks out all year and the track, OG Status, became the fan favorite so we that’s what we named the EP.”
How did you come up with the artwork for the album?
“I didn’t have a clear idea for album art either so we just asked the fans. In the end we got so many hilarious ideas that we decided to use nearly all of them. I really enjoyed connecting with the fans like this and it was awesome that they had an opportunity to contribute to the official cover.”

What inspired the name “OG STATUS” ?
