Belgian brothers Dmitri Vegas & Like Mike released a preview of a new track today called Wakanda. The title comes from the fictional African nation in the Marvel comics. Wakanda translates to a tribal-inspired, hypnotically rhythmic big room explosion. Its unique melody and echoing vocal sample have me feeling similar to how I felt the first time I heard Mat Zo and Porter Robinson’s Easy. This preview presents a tribal drum inspired build-up to its first break – a low tempo smash. With its first drop a minute and thirty seconds in, this preview has me hoping I hear this one once festival season comes around.
