Rising star in the Moombahton and Trap arena Kid Cedek has arrived as the guest for the 3rd installment of the Be The Rave Presents mix series. This stupendous mix, which samples unreleased bangers, is free for download below, so be sure to grab that! Along with the mix, we also got the opportunity to sit down with the ROT10 Musik head honcho.
Interview
1. Who is Kid Cedek?
I’m an Atlanta based producer and DJ. I’m also the President of Rot10 Musik. I work hard everyday to develop my sound and make original musical contributions to our Bass Community… I’ve also been blessed to have some amazing corporate supporters such as SOL REPUBLIC, MONO CASE, & SELFMADE CO. I run a local promotion company called Moombah ATL. As well as a blog called www.sohighonlife.com and I do a bunch of other shit, but all in all Im a multi-genre producer/dj. I love all kinds of stuff so I enjoy bringing an original element to any of my remixes and my original tunes!
2. Tell us about your move to Atlanta. How did it impact your personal
life and career?
I Started learning to DJ/Produce simultaneously when i moved to Atlanta in June 2009 on a whim! I met a DJ in passing back in 2008 when I used to manage guerilla/experential marketing tours and he offered an internship. I dislocated my ankle about a year later and decided to just make the move…(Random I know) But anyway I Got Logic in September 09 and have isolated myself from the world since then lol… But really yeah I just bust my ass doing what I love and hoping that I can inspire people in the process! Not a bad way to live 
3. What show has meant the most to you so far?
Man thats tough! But if I had to choose something I’d say it was co-headling w/ Bro Safari, Nero, and Excision in my hometown in Atlanta, GA. It was great to be able to do me ALL THE WAY. I’ve opened for alot of amazing djs/producers but being billed up there with guys like Bro Safari and Nero in particular who have made a huge impact on not only the bass community, but my music as well was extremely rewarding and has pushed me to work harder than ever!
4. Tradition vinyl? Or modern cdjs?
Technic 1200s all the way baby! But I use novation Dicers and do a hell of a lot of live effects w/ the Pioneer DJM 900 during live performances! I just love the feel of vinyl still! I learned how to dj back in june 09 w/ straight up 2 of the same Jesse Rose records and kept train wrecking haha. One day it clicked and figure why change shit if its working?
5. If you could produce an album for any MC, dead or alive, who would it
be and why?
6. What are your touring plans for 2013?
Man, so much cool shit in the works! Tours through South America, the UK, and Australia!!! Along w/ lots of other dope stuff I can’t go into details about, but yeah I’m definitely excited for 2013! And hey what better way to show that excitement than with a fresh mix and for THE FREE right before xmas?
7. What would be found on the rider of your dreams?
Skinless Pickles hand-dipped in the juice that red-hot sausages come in
