I’ve been excitedly anticipating this day for a quite some time now. The launch of the Be The Rave Presents mix series has finally arrived! Every week, we’ll be shining the spotlight on some of the latest and greatest producers in the game. We’re going to be genre hopping like no other, so expect the unexpected with each release. This week, we have Disco-House from none other than Solidisco. Next week it could be Dubstep, House, Trance or Moombahcore-breakstep with glitch elements. Stay tuned in an you’ll have your musical horizons expanded.
For this first segment, we knew we had to call on two of our favorite producers in the game; Biacco & Dstar, the duo behind Solidisco. They’re no strangers to Be The Rave, as we’ve covered their original tune “One More Chance“, and their massive remix of Daft Punk’s “Superheroes”. Hailing from Buffalo, NY — where the two met, they’ve honed and perfected a sound that is as classic as it is unique. I feel confident in saying that Solidisco is the authority in today’s Disco-House arena. Having garnered support from the likes of A-Trak and Laidback Luke, and torn up stages alongside heavyweights such as Diplo and Steve Aoki, it’s evident they will leave a lasting ripple in the pond that is electronic music. The two have, just tonight, released another stunning track entitled “Turn Around“. We recommend you have a listen! Be sure to find these guys’ on your favorite social media outlet and give them a follow or like!
